Central Valley Habitat for Humanity is an independent affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. HFH does not build homes for people, but with them as equal partners. Habitat homeowners build alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage.

The goal of Child Protective Services (CPS) is to identify, assess and provide services to children and families in an effort to protect children, preserve families, whenever possible, and prevent further maltreatment. Child Protective Services is non-punitive in its approach and is directed toward enabling families to provide adequate care for their children.
Local departments of social services are responsible for receiving reports of abuse and neglect; conducting investigations to determine the validity of the CPS reports; and providing services that enhance child safety and prevent further abuse and neglect to families and children.
We are a growing organization, consistently increasing possibilities for our community to access comprehensive care through psychotherapy, holistic wellness, mentoring, sustainable gardening, medical and psychiatric services, psychological testing, and one day a full service inn and retreat center with a farm to table restaurant employing adults with disabilities.
Mental health emergency services available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The HRCSB provides mental health emergency support around the clock every day of the year to anyone in the Harrisonburg City and Rockingham County community.
Kingsway Prison and Family Outreach is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that that has been offering assistance to the incarcerated, ex-offenders, and their families. In addition to services provided within the prisons and jails, Kingsway provides a safe haven for released inmates to come for help at the office in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
