Open Doors provides emergency low-barrier shelter for adults, case management for shelter participants, plus organized holistic support services through community partnerships.
Open Doors operates out of the Navigation Center. The center is home to a low-barrier emergency shelter for adults and a weekday daytime drop-in center open to all in the community. We carry out our mission for our community with our community.

Your Community Partner For Behavioral Health!
We invite you to connect with our team to discuss your individual needs and those of our community. Our program relies on community connection and networking to identify areas where help is needed and create tailored behavioral health resources that improve lives in Harrisonburg City and Rockingham County.
We are a proud program with the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Community Services Board
We provide, free of charge, donated clothing (newborn through grade 12), disposable baby diapers and baby supplies to needy families. We currently serve close to 500 families and 1000 children in our community.
2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month: 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
3rd Tuesday of each month: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
2nd and 4th Thursday of each month: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
