Our mission is to provide educational services that lead to better jobs, better lives, and better communities.

The Collins Center provides support to men, women and children, who are victims of assault or abuse, while also providing services, many of which are free and confidential.

The Pantry is a joint effort on campus, with support coming from the newly formed Basic Needs Advisory Board, which is co-chaired by Off-Campus Life and Community Service-Learning staff, and has representation from across the university and Harrisonburg community. We have partnered with the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank to ensure a consistent supply of quality options. The pantry has started largely with shelf-stable goods, some hygiene products, and limited fresh produce. Options will grow and expand as we better understand the needs of our community.

Unite Virginia is a coordinated care network of health and social service providers. Partners in the network are connected through Unite Us’ shared technology platform, which enables them to send and receive electronic referrals, address people’s social needs and improve health across communities.

Valley Associates for Independent Living, Inc. (VAIL) is a private, non-profit center for independent living (CIL). a consumer‑controlled, community‑based, cross‑disability, non-residential private non-profit agency that is designed and operated within a local community by individuals with disabilities and provides an array of independent living services

The Shenandoah Valley’s longest operating private homeless shelter, Valley Mission has provided shelter, support, and hope to our local community’s most vulnerable constituents since 1971. Our history is rooted in a love of Christ and a commitment to share that love with others, at a time when they need our love the most.

The mission of VPAS is to empower those 60 years and older with the resources and opportunities they need to lead engaged lives.

Veterans Outpatient Primary Care Clinic offers primary care and specialty health services, including mental health services, nutrition counseling, immunizations, laboratory services, and more.
